Enjoy hiking around Lake Tahoe, mountain biking its forest trails, or swimming in the clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Visit Old West mining towns or the Black Rock Desert, or drive to San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, and Lassen National Park, all a three hour drive away. The Lake Tahoe Institute of English can arrange for a very wide variety of excursions and activities that may be of interest to you. Of course, some activities are subject to seasonal weather restrictions. The instructor(s) can accompany you to continue the daily structured English conversation as part of the program. Only the actual cost of transportation, meals and housing will be charged as extra.

If you like to work out in a gym, the nearby Incline Village Recreation Center has a full range of programs and top quality equipment, swimming pool and ball courts for you to use for a small fee.

 

 

Anything you want to do can likely be arranged. Please inquire about the availability of other activities not listed above. Activities can also be enjoyed before or after your English course at the Lake Tahoe Institute of English…or as a recess in the middle of the course!
